History of Technical Imagery
After being invited invited to perform at the 5th annual celebration of 'Bilderwelten des Wissens' at Berlin's Humboldt University in January, I am now collecting material for a new project which explores the relationship of the human eye, cinematic development and the history of technical visualization.

Concert with Olga Neuwirth at Musik Fest Weimar
I'm working on a collaboration with Olga Neuwirth for this year's edition of the Weimar Musik Fest.

Embedded Art / Control Rooms
At the moment I'm collaborating with Zaji Chalem and BBM on a project commissioned for the Exhibition "Embedded Art – Kunst im Namen der Sicherheit“ at Berlin's Akademie der Künste in Feb 2009. It focuses on the history, politics and psychology of control rooms, operations centres where facilities or services are monitored and controlled. We're building an essential control room, a 360° projection system which will combine the functions of surveillance, decision taking, analysis, voyerurism and politics. more info on our project as it develops.

Performance at Plateaux Festival with Vladislav Delay
Lillevan + Vladislav Delay reunite at the Plateaux Festival in Torun, Poland in November 2008.
Plans are also afoot for a new collaborative work for the Skanu Mezs Festival in Riga May 2009.

Muvi Awards
The film festival at Oberhausen [www.kurzfilmtage.de] nominated a track from the last Rechenzentrum DVD release 'Silence". The track is 'Terra Incognita', the first track on the DVD, and is now presented on the Oberhausen Showreel.

Audio-visual Improvisation at Romanian Cultural Institute
Maurcie de Martin (Zeitkratzer percussionst amongst other projects) and Romanian Jazz pianist Mircea Tiberian invited me to collaborate with them on. The first show took place in Berlin in May, further shows are planned for the autumn.

Performance at Archeological Museum
Lillevan has been commissioned by Alicante's MARQ Archeological Museum to perform a live audio-visual work at the opening of the exhibition 'Escitas: Tesoros de Tuva' in collaboration with Zaji Chalem.
The exhibition explores the history of the Scythians (700BC), nomads of Iranian decent who are known for their famous gold adornments that feature amongst the most glamorous artifacts of world museums. The performance will feature quite a few of these golden objects, and will incorporate reworkings of original sound recordings.
